Rotary dryer, also known as rotary drum dryer,rotary drier.

The rotary dryer can be classified into Coal Slime Rotary Dryer, Sawdust Dryer, Coconut shell dryer,  slag rotary dryer and clay rotary dryer according to different raw materials.According to different structure, the rotary dryer can be divided into Three cylinder dryer, Double-drum Dryer.
Being widely used in building materials, metallurgy, chemicals, industrial drying slag cement limestone, coal, slag, clay and other materials.

Working principle

 

Working Principle of Rotary Dryer

The main body of rotary dryer is a cylinder at a certain gradient with horizon. The cylinder is drove by gear at a speed of 2-6r/min. The general gradient of cylinder is about 3°-5°. Materials enter cylinder by the upper end. As the cylinder rotates, materials flow to the lower end under gravity and get discharged. During this period, materials get thorough contact with hot air, moisture inside gets vaporized. Due to rotary dryer operates under negative pressure, the inlet and outlet both adopt sealing device to avoid air leakage.

1. The cylinder protect itself, thermal efficiency can up to 95%.The whole length of the dryer reduced to 50% approximately than mono-cylinder and reduced land investment to 50% approximately
2. Cylinder adopts heat-resistant and wear-resistant steel plate welding with long service life and easy maintenance..High thermal efficiency , temperature of outer cylinder is 60or below(temperature of outer mono-cylinder is high to 150°C)
3. Low temperature of outlet, long-service of dust removal machine. It also can be directly connected to air box pulse bag filter.
4. Without gear and pinion drive, but wheel rotation applied, level operation of the complete machine makes system simple and reasonable.
5. Air heater could match boiling furnace, or oil furnace can also be applied, which can dry materials with size below 20mm.
6. Final moisture index can be adjusted according to requirements of customers.
