Brief introduction of ball mill
Ball mill is similar with wet grinding ball mill except that ore discharging end is installed with ore discharging grid plate. End housing with hollow journal at ore discharging end is equipped with bearing inner sleeve and ore discharging grid. Ore discharging grid is composed of center lining plate, grid lining plate and dustpan-shaped lining plate. The inner wall of end housing is casted with eight radial ribs, and the end cap is divided into eight fan-shaped chambers, which is fixed with dustpan-shaped lining plate in each sector chamber and fix it in housing cap by using screws, and then the grid plate is mounted on each fan chamber formed by dustpan-shaped lining plate.

Main application of ball mill

Ball Mill grinds material by rotating a cylinder with steel grinding balls, causing the balls to fall back into the cylinder and onto the material to be ground. The rotation is usually between 4 to 20 revolutions per minute, depending upon the diameter of the mill. The larger the diameter, the slower the rotation. If the peripheral speed of the mill is too great, it begins to act like a centrifuge and the balls do not fall back, but stay on the perimeter of the mill. The point where the mill becomes a centrifuge is called the "Critical Speed", and ball mills usually operate at 65% to 75% of the critical speed.

According to the way of materials and discharging, ball mill can be divided into dry type ball mill and wet type lattice ball mill.
Ball mill is mainly made up of feeding part, discharging part, rotary part and driving part, including reducer, small drive gear, electrical machine and electronic control. The hollow shaft adopts steel casting, and its inner lining is detachable and changeable while the rotary rack wheel uses casting gear hobbing and there is a wear-resisting lining board inside the cylinder with good abrasion performance. Advantages of ball mill
1. As the ball mill transmission adopts rolling bearing instead of sliding bearings, friction is greatly reduced with easy start-up and significant saving energy;
2. Its discharging end adopts cone design, which not only increased the volume, but also forcing grading of ball in cone side. The closer exit, the smaller ball diameter. It increased function of repeated grinding, and further improve fineness of the material;

Working principle
Working principle of ball mill
The hole in grid lining plate is arranged obliquely, the width of the hole is gradually expanded toward the end of ore discharging to prevent pulp backflow and coarse grain blocking. Pulp flows into fan-shaped through pore of grid lining plate in the lower part of ore discharging, and then goes to upper part with barrel and discharges it along with pore passage. Hollow journal is set with wear-resistant inner sleeve, and one end is made into tubaeform blade so as to guide pulp to flow out mill along blade. This pulp mill is discharged through ore discharging devices of grid plate.
The motor on the ceramic ball mill drives the cylinder rotation through the deceleration device, and then the crushed ore and grinding ball in the cylinder are brought to a certain height by friction and centrifugal force when the cylinder rotates, and after the liner is brought to a certain height due to gravity, it will be thrown and falling, and the ore will be gradually crushed under the action of impact and grinding. The crushed stone is discharged through the discharge part.
After the discharged material is classified into a qualified product in the spiral classifier, the coarse sand is returned to the ball mill through the combined feeder to continue grinding. The feeder feeds continuously and evenly, and the ore enters the ceramic ball mill continuously and evenly through the combined feeder, and the ground material is continuously discharged from the ceramic ball mill. Ceramic ball mill is a grinding equipment that can work continuously 24 hours a day.
