1. Product Introduction
Lime rotary kiln calcination technology is a new type of active lime dedicated rotary kiln developed based on the calcination characteristics of limestone and the absorption and reference of similar rotary kilns at China and abroad. This type of rotary kiln (optionally equipped with a vertical preheater and cooler to form an energy-saving rotary kiln calcination system) has the characteristics of high raw material utilization rate, complete calcination, uniform quality, good quality, large production capacity, high operating rate, energy conservation and environmental protection, easy operation, and long service life of the whole machine. Limestone enters the kiln through the kiln tail, and due to the inclination and slow rotation of the cylinder, limestone rolls along the circumference while moving axially from the kiln tail to the kiln head; Fuel is sprayed into the kiln through a burner at the kiln head for combustion, and heat is transferred to limestone through convection and conduction.
Limestone is calcined into quicklime during its movement and discharged from the kiln head. High temperature flue gas enters the dust removal system at the kiln tail end.

4. Application and operating principle:
 

The rotary kiln is central equipment for cement clinkering system in the new large dry processing cement production, which can be used with unit-or-twin-stream preheater, calcining combustor. 90%-95% of the raw material which has been pre-calcined feeds into the slow rotating, inclining installed rotary kiln from the rear. Under the composite effect of circumferential tilting and axial movement, the material slowly flows through the whole drum, the fuel (coal dust, oil or natural gas) sprays from kiln head into high temperature zone for burning, which produces the required heat for physical and chemical reaction of combination and crystallization of material inside the kiln. Under the function of rear blower, the burning gas stream and material counter flow the whole kiln, completing heat exchange and physical/chemical reaction. The clinkered cement is discharge to the cooler.
