2. Working Principle of Mining Flotation Cell
In the stirred flotation machine, with the rotation of the impeller, the slurry in the tank is sucked from the lower end of the impeller to the impeller blade from around the bottom of the groove. At the same time, the low pressure air from the blower passes through the air distributor of the hollow shaft and impeller. After the slurry and air are fully mixed between the blades, they are pushed from the upper half of the impeller to the peripheral syncline, and the stator stabilizes and orientates into the whole slot. The bubble rises to the stable zone of the foam. After the enrichment process, the foam overflows from the overflow Weir and enters the foam tank. A part of the slurry flows to the lower part of the impeller, then stirred by the impeller, remixed to form a mineralized bubble, and the remaining slurry flows to the next Trough until it becomes tailings.
