Description of Grinding Mill
1. Grinding Mill can mill quartz, feldspar, calcite, talc, barite, fluorite, rare-earth, marble, ceramic, bauxite, manganese ore, iron mine, copper, phosphate ore, etc,
2. The final size can be controlled from 0.044mm to 0.125mm, which equal with that from 100 mesh to 325 mesh though Pendulum crusher.

For low consumption, low investment, environment friendly , small occupation area, and more efficient than the traditional mill, it is widely used in the field of metallurgy, building materials, chemical industry and mining to process powder. The series is used in grinding the non-flammable and non-explosive stuff which has the Moh's hardness below 7, humidity less than 6%, such as gypsum, talc, calcite, limestone, marble, feldspar, barite, dolomite, granite, kaolin, bentonite, bauxite, iron ore etc., the final products change from 613 micron to 44 micron. Through the function of separator and blower, it can meet different customers' demand.

Raymond mill machine, also known as Raymond grinding machine, Raymond drum grinding machine, and Raymond grinding machine, is suitable for grinding non flammable and non explosive materials. The size of the finished powder can be adjusted between 30 and 425 mesh (0.613mm-0.044mm).

Raymond mill is suitable for processing various non combustible minerals such as limestone, carbonate calcite, dolomite, barite, talc, gypsum, diabase, quartz, bentonite, bauxite, iron ore, etc., with a hardness of less than 7Mo and a moisture content of less than 6%.

The final fineness of the grinding material can be adjusted between 325 to 2500 mesh (47-5 microns), and the product fineness can reach D97 ≤ 5 μ M.

Raymond Mill is mainly used for power generation processing in industries such as mining, building materials, chemical, metallurgy, etc. It grinds barite, calcite, potassium feldspar, talc, marble, limestone, slag, and more than 280 non combustible and non explosive materials with a Mohs hardness of 7 or below.
The product size can be adjusted within the range of 80-425 mesh as needed. Some materials have a mesh size of up to 2000.

Working principle

 

Grinding Mill Working Principle

Firstly, the raw materials are crushed to the required size by a jaw crusher, and then the crushed material is lifted into a hopper. The material is transported out of the hopper through an electromagnetic vibration feeder and uniformly and continuously enters the Raymond grinding chamber for powder processing. Due to the centrifugal force, the roller swings outward to squeeze the ring, and the shovel picks up the material and delivers it to the middle position between the ring and the roller to complete grinding.

Afterwards, the ground material is carried into the separator by the air in the blower for screening. The fine powder is blown into the cyclone dust collector and poured out through the output powder valve as the final product. The screened coarse material will be recycled to the grinding chamber for further grinding. The airflow system of the unit is tightly sealed and circulated under negative and positive pressure conditions.




 
Installation Instructions

 

Grinding Mill Maintenance and Repair
1. Prior to installation of the equipment, all the people who will be assigned to operate the equipment have to be technically trained to know the principle and rules of operation. Someone should be specially selected and put in charge of the operation.

 2. To ensure normal operation of the equipment, a manual containing strict rules and procedures for its operation, maintenance and repair should be well prepared and followed. Tools, replacement parts for maintaining, repairing and lubricating oil and grease must be available for immediate use.
 3. After a period of usage, the equipment should be checked, to replace worn-and-torn parts such as rollers, rings and shovels. Be sure to fasten connecting-bolts, nut collars to fix rollers properly. Be sure to lubricate the parts sufficiently.

4. Roller should be replaced after 500-hours use. To check and wash bearings, replace broken ones, then fill enough oil and grease (with oil-pump or grease-gun).
