Rotary drum sand dryer is widely used in building materials, metallurgy, mineral processing, chemical industry, cement and other industries.
It is mainly used in sand,slag, limestone, clay, river sand, quartz sand, water slag and other high moisture, large proportion of materials.
3. Working Principle of rotary drum sand dryer
The dry wet material from sand dryer is delivered to hopper by belt conveyor or bucket hoist, and then the feeding machine through hopper enters the feeding end through feeding pipe.
The inclination of the feeding pipe is greater than the natural inclination of the material so that the material can flow smoothly into the dryer.
The dryer cylinder is a rotating cylinder slightly inclined to the horizontal line.
When the material is added from the higher end, the heat carrier enters from the lower end, which is in contact with the material countercurrent, and the heat carrier and the material flow together into the cylinder.
With the rotation of the cylinder, the material moves to the bottom end by gravity. In the process of moving the wet material forward in the cylinder, the heat transfer of the heat carrier is obtained directly or indirectly.
